MASSDEVICE ON CALL — Apple (NSDQ:AAPL) offered a quick shout-out yesterday to medtech giant Medtronic (NYSE:MDT) for its extensive investment in mobile programs for its employees, MedCity News reported.
The device maker has logged 175 custom apps with the iTunes store, Apple senior vice president & CFO Luca Maestri said in a call with analysts.
"Medical device leader Medtronic has developed over 175 internal iOS apps for over 16,500 iPhones used by its employees to facilitate sales, improve productivity and ensure that essential marketing materials are up to date," Maestri said in yesterday’s call.
