(NYSE:CFN) a global, medical technology company, and Medline Industries Inc., the nation’s largest privately held manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products, today announced an agreement to sell the CareFusion International Surgical Products (ISP) distribution business to Medline for approximately $130 million.

- LAB Research signs acquisition deal with PE Firm
LAB Research Inc. (TSX:LRI), a Canadian-based global non-clinical contract research organization, today announced it has entered into a non-binding letter of intent pursuant to which a large US-Based Private Equity Group would acquire the company. The Company’s main Canadian lender has agreed to extend its financial support to LAB Research until February 23, 2011 to enable the Buyer to complete the transaction.
