After a year and 9 months on the job at Conceptus (NSDQ:CPTS), executive vice president of marketing Sam Trujillo is leaving the position that was created for him.
The medical device company said in a regulatory filing that Trujillo, a healthcare industry vet with stints at Bayer Healthcare, Schering-Plough, Novartis, Warner-Lambert and Procter & Gamble on his résumé, will stay on as a consultant for 5 to 6 months.
The 5-month consulting deal will see Trujillo pull down $YY a month for about 10 hours of work each week, with an option for a 6th month that would take the total package to $125,000, according to the filing.
