Lantheus Medical Imaging Inc. named pharmaceuticals industry veteran Robert Spurr to be its new vice president of sales and marketing.

Spurr comes to the Billerica, Mass.-based company from Ortho-McNeil Inc., one of Johnson & Johnson’s (NYSE:JNJ) pharma units, where he was VP of sales and marketing for the division’s institutional franchise operation. His resumé includes stints at Aventis Pharmaceuticals and Novartis Pharmaceuticals.

Lantheus also said that David Mann will take its newly created VP of operations and professional relations position.
