Kinetic Concepts CEO named interim head of sister company LifeCell
Kinetic Concepts president & CEO Joseph Woody was named interim CEO of LifeCell Corp. after ex-CEO Lisa Colleran’s departure to "pursue new opportunities."
Colleran was CEO of Bridgeport, N.J.-based LifeCell since January 2012, the same month Woody was appointed CEO at the San Antonio, Tex.-based Kinetic Concepts following its leveraged buyout.

CardioFocus beefs up senior staff in prep for product launch
Marlborough, Mass.-based CardioFocus is making changes to its executive team to prepare for its HeartLight product launch.
Chairman Paul LaViolette will now be the executive board member. LaViolette has 35 years of experience in cardiovascular companies, including COO of Boston Scientific (NYSE:BSX).
The company also pulled Renny Clark over from St. Jude Medical (NYSE:STJ), naming him CFO & treasurer. Clark formerly worked at LightLab Imaging and Boston Scientific.

Tissue Regenix is hoping to expand its U.S. footprint with a new sales vice president for subsidiary Tissue Regenix USA Inc. Donald Hohne was appointed to drive commercialization for the York, U.K.-based company’s dCell technology in North America.
Hohne’s resume includes stints at Bone Bank Allografts as director of business development and at Kinetic Concepts as director of government affairs.
