Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) announced that it appointed Shawn Millerick as president of Vision Care, Americas.
Millerick’s appointment went into effect on Nov. 11, 2024. He holds responsibility for defining strategy and driving growth for the company’s Vision Care portfolio in North America and LATAM. That includes the world’s leading contact lens family, Acuvue.
Johnson & Johnson said Millerick has a strong focus on accelerating digital transformation to optimize outcomes for patients and eye care professionals.

His experience spans commercial strategy and enterprise solutions, as well as broad consumer healthcare experience. Millerick has expertise in over-the-counter marketing, focusing on shopper marketing and category insights.

With Millerick’s move to the role of president, Erin Powers takes on expanded responsibilities. She now leads North America for J&J’s Surgical Vision business as VP of North America, Surgical Vision.
Together, Johnson & Johnson expects Millerick and Powers to focus on maximizing growth for Vision Care and Surgical Vision. The company plans for them to collaborate on opportunities, synergies and culture as a unified Vision organization.
