Fluidnet Corp. appointed Benjamin Bulkley CEO in a unamimous decision by the company’s board of directors.
Founder Jeff Carlisle stepped down as chief executive to become the Portsmouth, N.H.-based IV infusion system developer’s CIO.
Before joining Fluidnet, Bulkley was COO at health IT firm Allscripts (NSDQ:MDRX) and prior to that led the global commercial operations of life science instrument Invitrogen (NSDQ:IVGN).
In a prepared statement, chairman Chuck Hadley said, “Fluidnet is fortunate to have Ben to lead the company through FDA clearance of its innovative infusion delivery system and drive the growth of the business. His operating successes in the healthcare IT, life sciences, medical device, and transportation industries represent a perfect mix for Fluidnet."
