J-Pac Medical said today it picked up ex-Haemonetics (NYSE:HAE) and Aspect Medical veep of operations Jeff Barrett to be its CEO and president.
Barrett was previously CEO at both GI Supply and Optim, and founded Eggrock Modular Solutions. In total, Barrett has more than 25 years of experience with medical product-based companies, J-Pac Medical said.

As proven by his impressive track record, Jeff is both strategic and a visionary and we are confident he will be able to recognize new opportunities and work collaboratively with our team and customers to make J-Pac an even stronger company,” J-Pac chair Joseph Parzick said in a press release.
Adding Barrett as the new chief will help advance the company’s growth strategy and improve adoption of its current portfolio, as well as growing new products, Somersworth, N.H.-based J-Pac Medical said.
