Barrett was previously CEO at both GI Supply and Optim, and founded Eggrock Modular Solutions. In total, Barrett has more than 25 years of experience with medical product-based companies, J-Pac Medical said.
“As we look to take J-Pac Medical to the next level in terms of growth and profitability, we are privileged to appoint a CEO of Jeff Barrett’s caliber who brings a skillset that includes leading entrepreneurial ventures, developing new products, establishing sales and marketing strategy, and driving operational excellence. As proven by his impressive track record, Jeff is both strategic and a visionary and we are confident he will be able to recognize new opportunities and work collaboratively with our team and customers to make J-Pac an even stronger company,” J-Pac chair Joseph Parzick said in a press release.
Adding Barrett as the new chief will help advance the company’s growth strategy and improve adoption of its current portfolio, as well as growing new products, Somersworth, N.H.-based J-Pac Medical said.
“I am pleased to join the J-Pac Medical team and believe my combination of business and engineering expertise and my hands-on leadership approach will enable improvements to J-Pac’s business model and ensure we are operating as effectively as possible for the benefit of our valued customers,” Barrett said in a prepared statement.
