Radiation therapy devices maker IsoRay (AMEX:ISR) announced the sudden death of company vice-chairman Robert Kauffman, who passed away on March 7.
Kauffman had been with the company since 2005 and was named vice-chairman in 2008. IsoRay is looking to fill the hole he left behind, but there are no immediate nominations or arrangements, according to an IsoRay regulatory filing.
IsoRay’s most recent annual report listed Kauffman’s age as 73. He was a member of the audit committee as a "financial expert," based on his roles as CEOs of "multiple public companies."
"He will be greatly missed," IsoRay officials wrote. "The company would like to extend sincere condolences to Mr. Kauffman’s family."
