
Kevin King appointed new CEO, president of iRythm technologies
San Francisco, Calif.-based iRhythm technologies announced the appointment of Kevin King as its new CEO, president and member of the board of directors. King, who most recently served as president and CEO of genomic analysis tools maker Affymetrix, succeeds Bill Willis in the position.
iRhythm signed a deal with St. Jude Medical (NYSE:STJ) in 2011 to market and brand their Zio patch product, a cardiac-rhythm monitoring device.

Ellen Zane appointed to Haemonetics board of directors
Braintree, Mass.-based blood processing technology company Haemonetics (NYSE:HAE) announced that Ellen Zane has been appointed to the company’s board of directors. Zane recently retired from her position as CEO of Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children in Boston.
"Blood management is a key focal point of hospital administrators and surgical teams as they seek to provide the best possible clinical care for patients while managing their cost structures. Haemonetics is very well positioned with solutions that are central to those efforts," said Ms. Zane in prepared remarks. "I look forward to joining the Board of Directors and serving the Company’s shareholders."

W. Mark Lotz appointed to Insulet board of directors
Insulet (NSDQ:PODD) announced the appointment of W. Mark Lotz to its board of directors. The Bedford, Mass.-based diabetes technology company added that Lotz will be serving on the compensation committee of the board.
