French biotech firm IntegraGen Inc. is coming to America.
The Evry, France-based gene discovery and genotyping services company plans to open its U.S. headquarters in Cambridge, Mass., Nov. 1.
The U.S. subsidiary will support IntegraGen‘s clinical research on early identification of children at risk of autism, according to the company.
The Mass. Life Sciences Center and the Commonwealth’s Office of International Trade and Investment helped IntegraGen make its decision, according to IntegraGen vice president Larry Yost.
“Our Life Sciences Initiative has proven successful in attracting both national and international life science companies, like IntegraGen, to consider locating and creating jobs in Massachusetts," Gov. Deval Patrick said in prepared remarks.
