Hillrom (NYSE:HRC) subsidiary Welch Allyn won a Pentagon contract worth $100 million for patient monitoring equipment, the U.S. Defense Dept. said yesterday.
Skaneateles Falls, N.Y.-based Welch Allyn beat out 35 other outfits to win the five-year contract, which has a single five-year option after June 24, 2024, the Pentagon said.
The contract covers the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies and is funded from defense working capital funds, according to the Defense Dept.
