Haemonetics Corp. acquired Altivation Software for an undisclosed amount.

Chico, Calif.-based Altivation provides blood bank management software.

The Braintree blood management products maker said the deal complements its existing platforms and adds the ability to manage mobile blood drives. The company plans to roll Altivation into its Haemonetics Software Solutions business, but keep its operations in Chico.
