Group purchasing organization Novation inked a pair of new contracts with medical device companies AccuVein and MYCO.
Cary, N.C.-based MYCO will be providing blades, non-safety scalpels, and blade removal devices as part of its deal ending in Sept. 2016. In addition, MYCO also secured an agreement with the exclusive private label NovaPlus for its safety scalpels, according to a press release.
Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.-based AccuVein will supply its AccuVein AV40 in a 3-year deal ending July 2016. The AccuVein AV400 is a non-contact vein illumination device that projects a pattern of light on a patient’s skin revealing vein position for procedures requiring vein location, according to a separate release.
