Group purchasing organization Novation inked a deal with Cook Medical for its supply of central venous catheters.
The contract includes Cook’s line of comprehensive CVC products, including its Spectrum minocycline and rifampin impregnated catheters, used to reduce the risk of catheter-related bloodstream infections.
"Cook is proud to partner with Novation in delivering a technology that helps prevent dangerous and potentially fatal infections and reduces health care costs to its expansive network of health care providers," Dan Sirota, vice president of Cook Medical’s critical care and interventional radiology divisions, said in prepared remarks.
