Premier Healthcare Alliance struck a deal for blood glucose meters, reagents, and consumables and acute care service with Nova Biomedical of Waltham, Mass. and Roche Diagnostics (PINK:RHHBY) of Indianapolis, Ind.
The GPO also awarded separate agreements for an integrated platform (chemistry and immunochemistry analyzers, automation, reagents, consumables and service) to Beckman Coulter of Brea, Calif., Roche of Indianapolis, Ind., and Siemens Healthcare (NYSE:SI) of Deerfield, Ill. The contract with Nova and Roche and the contract with Beckman, Roche, and Siemens both took effect on April 1, 2013.
Novation announces new group buys
Novation launched several group buys, available through June 2013, that it claims may save its members up to 71% on capital equipment.
The products include mammography systems, MRI, patient monitors and more, and the deals were provided through contracts with Cardinal Health (NYSE:CAH), Getinge (PINK:GETI B), IRadimed Corp., Linet Americas, Midmark Corporation, NK Medical, Philips (NYSE:PHG), Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics (NYSE:SI), Smith Medical, and TBA Hospital Television.
HealthTrust awards contract to Teleflex Inc.
Group purchasing organization HealthTrust awarded an anesthesia products contract to Teleflex (NYSE:TFX), effective May 1, 2013.
The surgical and critical care device company has signed a contract for 2 product lines: the Arrow FlexBlock continuous peripheral nerve block catheter and the Arrow FlexTip multi-port epidural catheter.
