
Group purchasing organization Premier healthcare alliance signed a deal with Ivera Medical for disinfection devices. The contract makes Ivera the sole service provider for the GPO’s 2,900-hospital network for 3 years.
San Diego, Calif.-based Ivera will provide its line of Curos products, passive disinfection devices for needle-less IV valves and male-luer connectors.
The company also landed a sole-source contract with ASCEND (Accelerated Supply Chain Endeavor), Premier’s cost-control program. Both contracts kicked off on Sept. 1.
Premier inks a deal for Landauer’s radiation safety solutions
Premier healthcare alliance signed on with the Glenwood, Ill.-based Landauer Inc., a company that sells radiation safety services. The sole-source agreement means Landauer will provide Premier’s massive hospital network with imaging physics, dose optimization services, gap analysis and other services that help minimize radiation exposure.
B. Braun Medical Inc. lands a sole-source Premier contract
The Bethlehem, Pa.-based B. Braun Medical Inc. signed a sole-source agreement with Premier for dual-source IV products. The contract, which extends until January of 2020, allows Braun to distribute its IV fluids, needle-free devices, infusion pumps and other drug and nutrition delivery devices to Premier’s network of almost 3,000 hospitals.
