The new contract, which is valid until the end of 2017, allows Premier members to benefit from tiered pricing. Product pricing will vary according to what percentage of Cook products members order annually from the group’s specialty urology products offerings.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer these service and pricing options for Premier members,” said Jean-Marc Creissel, global leader of Cook’s urology division, in a statement. “We are looking forward to partnering with these hospitals as we navigate the pricing and cost pressures that we all face in health care today.”
Earlier this month, Premier announced had paid $14.5 million for the remaining 40% of S2S Global it didn’t already own.
