Community Health Ventures signed a contract for Masimo’s (NSDQ:MASI) Pronto 7 and Pronto devices which provide on-the-spot hemoglobin, SpO2, pulse rate and perfusion index measurements.
The contract includes special pricing and purchasing options for the GPO’s 9,000 health centers and 22 million patients, according to a company statement.
Premier issues supplier agreement to Instrumentation Laboratory
Group purchasing organization Premier healthcare alliance signed a deal with Instrumentation Laboratory for the company’s hemostasis product line, the 1st supplier agreement of its kind between the GPO and the Bedford, Mass.-based device maker.
The contract covers Instrumentation Laboratory’s hemostasis instruments, reagents and supplies. Premier has an ongoing deal with the company for its critical care devices.
Philips Healthcare wins contract with Premier for ventilators
Philips (NYSE:PHG) landed a new contract with Premier healthcare alliance. The Bothell, Wash.-based device maker won an agreement for its non-invasive ventilators, which will now be available to all acute and continuum care Premier members.
Last month, the technology giant’s subsidiary, Respironics, was slammed with an FDA recall over malfunctioning V60 ventilators.
