FujiFilm Holdings (TSE:4901) subsidiary FujiFilm SonoSite landed a Dept. of Defense contract worth up to $39.7 million, according to a federal memo.
The deal represents the 5th of up to 7 1-year options for radiology systems, subsystems and components. The latest extension expires on Feb. 18, 2015.
The DoD contract will provide medical equipment and services to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.
FujiFilm SonoSite was formed after FujiFilm’s $995 million acquisition of SonoSite, which closed in March 2012. SonoSite operates as a wholly owned subsidiary from its Bothell, Wash., headquarters.
