MASSDEVICE ON CALL — Former Medtronic (NYSE:MDT) CEO Bill George had some choice words for President Barack Obama’s landmark Affordable Care Act and Health & Human Services secretary Kathleen Sebelius’ management of the healthcare overhaul.
"This is the Titanic," George told CNBC’s ‘Squawk Box.’ "It’s just at the iceberg and everyone is looking at the tip: HealthCare.gov."
The issue won’t be solved by the end of the month despite optimistic reports coming from the White House, and it’s time for a change in leadership to truly get things back on track, George added.
"Sebelius has done her time," he said. "Let’s bring in the pros."
