Glaukos co-founder Bergheim steps down from board
Glaukos said this month that its co-founder Olav Bergheim will retire from the company’s board of directors. Bergheim has been a member of the board since co-founding the company in 1998.
“I am extremely proud to have played an integral role in the founding, development and growth of Glaukos, which has brought a disruptive technology to the market, addressing important unmet clinical needs and making a meaningful difference in the lives of glaucoma patients. With the company well positioned for long-term success, I believe the time has come for me to focus on new opportunities and challenges with Fjord Ventures, a life sciences accelerator,” Mr. Bergheim said in a prepared release.
