Former Accuray (NSDQ:ARAY) CEO Euan Thomson was named interim CEO at AliveCor following the departure of Daniel Sullivan after just 4 months on the job.
Thomson, a partner at Khosla Ventures, an investor in AliveCor’s Series B funding round.
He’s AliveCor’s 3rd CEO since December 2012, when Judy Wade was given the corner office. Sullivan was named CEO back in April.
AliveCor did not give a reason for Sullivan’s departure. The San Francisio-based company makes a small ECG sensor for the iPhone.
Sebelius confirms departure of the the agency’s ONC chief
Health & Human Services secretary Kathleen Sebelius confirmed that the head of the agency’s Health Information Technology office will step down. Dr. Farzad Mostashari, who took over as the national coordinator of health information technology in 2011, will stay on for several months to guide a transition. Rumors are already flying about possible replacements, including principal deputy national coordinator David Muntz, deputy national coordinator Judy Murphy, director of ONC’s Office of Science & Technology Dr. Doug Fridsma and director of ONC’s Office of the Chief Medical Office Dr. Jacob Reider.

TeraRecon calls on a former employee to take over as senior VP
Jeff Sorenson returns to TeraRecon to take over as senior VP of global marketing and sales and business development. Sorenson worked at the medical image maker from 2004 to 2011.
