Endologix (NASDAQ: ELGX), a developer of medical devices for aortic disorders, brought in a new face for the VP of global marketing position.
Ruth Lyons, a medical device marketing veteran, joined the company after more than 25 years in the field, having worked with St. Jude Medical Inc. (NYSE:STJ), Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) and Baxter International Inc. (NYSE: BAX).

Lyons joined the team as Endologix prepares for global launches of three of its major products: AFX, Nellix and Ventana.
"Joining Endologix provides me with the opportunity to work with what I believe to be the most innovative company in the market focused on endovascular aortic devices. The company has a very promising new product pipeline and I look forward to working with the management team to continue driving growth and market share gains," Lyons said in a prepared statement.
