EndoChoice said it won a marketing license in Canada for its Fuse endoscopy system.

The Fuse endoscope features 3 small cameras that provide a 330-degree view, nearly double the range of typical colonoscopy devices.

The Fuse device won FDA 510(k) clearance in the U.S. in June 2013.

“We intend to gain market clearance in several more countries in the near future. While 2013 has been an exciting year for our company, the introduction of Fuse into Canada and other markets will enable us to make 2014 even more dynamic as we bring this game-changing technology to more clinicians,” founder & CEO Mark Gilreath said in prepared remarks.
