Elekta announces promotions, appointments and resignations
Radiation therapy devices maker Elekta (STO:EKTA B) announced handful of changes to its leadership, including the promotion of oncology executive vice president Johan Sedihn to chief operation officer.
The Swedish company also appointed Bill Yaeger executive VP of oncology and John Lapre EVP of brachytherapy, succeeding Jos Lamers, who stepped down.
Olof Sanden, EVP and regional head for Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East, also resigned.

Spectranetics (NSDQ:SPNC) board member David Balckburn did not stand for re-election at the company’s annual stockholders’ meeting this year, and his term on the board ended May 31.
