Dexcom (NSDQ:DXCM) this week said it appointed Jereme Sylvain as senior VP of finance and chief accounting officer, which took effect on March 9.
Sylvain will be the accounting officer for purposes of the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Prior to his appointment, Sylvain was Dexcom’s VP and corporate controller and was responsible for the company’s tax, treasury, shared service and billing functions. He also has held numerous financial leadership positions at NuVasive, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Life Technologies Corporation and Ernst & Young.
Last month, Dexcom said it would partner with Insulet to feed blood glucose monitor data into an automated insulin delivery system. The company also won CE Mark approval for its G6 continuous glucose monitor system for use during pregnancy.
