DeviceTalks partners with New England Healthcare Executive Network to host mergers & acquisition panel at DeviceTalks Boston

May 15, 2019 By Sarah Faulkner

DeviceTalks Boston 2019 promoThe New England Healthcare Executive Network will host a panel of leaders to discuss the topic of mergers and acquisitions in the medical device industry.

For the third consecutive year, DeviceTalks has partnered with the New England Healthcare Executive Network at DeviceTalks Boston.

At DeviceTalks Boston 2019, NE Healthcare Executive Network’s member meeting will offer a discussion with medical device executives about mergers and acquisitions. Amar Sawhney, chairman of Ocular Therapeutix, will serve as the meeting’s keynote speaker. Sawhney plans to share his experiences in building and exiting multiple successful companies.

The meeting will also offer a panel of CEOs and corporate business development executives – Charlie Attlan of Boston Scientific, Eric Knudsen of Zoll Medical, Martha Shadan of Miach Orthopaedics, and Peter Stebbins of Johnson & Johnson – who will share their take on the M&A process.

“We are excited to once again partner with the New England Healthcare Executive Network and host their meeting,” said DeviceTalks program manager Sarah Faulkner. “We look forward to this engaging discussion about mergers and acquisitions in the medtech industry, especially since it features well-established local medtech leaders.”

“DeviceTalks offers us the opportunity to partner with this premier forum and exhibition giving our members an opportunity to attend the exhibition and interface with other attendees,” said Alan Lucas, founder of the NE Healthcare Executive Network.

Recruiting from the best of Boston’s medtech ecosystem, DeviceTalks Boston highlights speakers who will explore how to build better devices and better companies. To register, visit www.boston.devicetalks.com.
