Contract research organization Boston Biomedical Associates will now have the added staff support of Creganna-Tactx Medical.
The two companies formed a joint venture under which Creganna-Tactx customers will have access to BBA’s clinical, regulatory and quality consulting services.
Creganna-Tactx offers outsourced design and manufacturing services to medical device companies; adding the regulatory expertise of BBA allows the Galway, Ireland-based company to complement those services with guidance on regulatory strategy and clinical trials, according to a press release.
"We have designed and manufactured complete products on behalf of our customers for many years; therefore managing the regulatory and quality process on their behalf is a natural progression," Creganna-Tactx CEO Helen Ryan said in prepared remarks.
At DeviceTalks Boston, Tyler Shultz will give attendees an inside look at Theranos and how he was able to sound the alarm after he realized the company was falling apart. Shultz will take attendees behind the story that everyone is talking about: the rise and fall of Elizabeth Holmes and her diagnostic company, Theranos.
Join Shultz and 1,000+ medical device professionals at the 8th annual DeviceTalks Boston.
