Black has held numerous leadership roles within the medtech industry. He has over 20 years of executive management experience in the industry and has led early-stage medical device companies through commercialization and successful exit with strategic partners. Most recently, he was president of Bedrock Medtech Consulting. He has also served as CEO of Advanced Circulatory Systems and VP of global customer experience at Zoll Medical.

The Putney, Vermont-based early-stage medtech company is developing the next generation of technology for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. CPR Therapeutics is funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation.
