ConvaTec is cutting nearly 120 employees from its Skillman, N.J., headquarters and moving its operations to a smaller facility in the state, according to a local report.
The company expects by the end of April to abandon its pair of Skillman buildings, one of which had grown vacant in recent years, and move to another office, according to NJ.com.
ConvaTec confirmed the layoffs, saying that the cuts were efforts to consolidate its space rather than general restructuring. The 118 layoffs affected the company’s sales, marketing and human resources departments.
The company did not respond to requests for comment.
