The companies believe this offering can improve the efficiency of detecting deep vein thrombosis (DVT). ThinkSono Guidance, an AI app, pairs with Clarius handheld ultrasound scanners, which recently received CE mark approval.
Clarius also featured on Fast Company’s list of the most innovative companies of 2024.
ThinkSono Guidance enables non-ultrasound-trained healthcare professionals to use the scanner to collect DVT exam data. Data then goes to a clinician to review. According to a news release, this can speed up diagnosis from several hours to as little as 15 minutes.

The companies have further clinical studies underway in the U.S.
