Casenet Inc. completed a $2 million funding round comprised of an options sale and debt financing.
The round, which began July 27 and closed July 30, came from a total of six investors, according to a regulatory filing.
The filing lists CEO and board member Kevin Brown, CFO Denis Liptak, chairman Carl Ascenzo and board member and founder Bret Siarkowski, in addition to John Mandile and Richard Dale of Boston, Mass.-based venture capital firm Sigma Partners and Peter Grua, a partner at Boston-based HLM Venture Partners.
The Bedford, Mass.-based healthcare management software company’s TruCare suite of products enables customers to design their own health management solution, according to its website.
Casenet’s clients include Independent Care Health Plan of Wisconsin and Martin’s Point Health Care, according to its website.
