
Carrot Medical LLC raised $1.1 million from 14 unnamed investors, according to the federal Securities & Exchange Commission.
The equity-based, private fundraising round began Oct. 6, according to an SEC filing.
Carrot develops and markets operating room video and audio equipment. Its C-View product is designed to integrate imaging data, audio and video onto a single, ultra-high-definition monitor. The system is the “only audio-video system with 510(k) clearance,” from the Food & Drug Administration, according to Carrot Medical’s website. The company’s C-Com product is a wireless communication system for the OR.
A year ago the Waltham, Mass.-based company raised $635,000 in a private equity offering from 14 investors.
