CareFusion (NYSE:CFN) said it named Supratim Bose, an executive at Boston Scientific (NYSE:BSX) who spent 30 years at Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), to its board of directors.
Bose has been president of Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa for Boston Scientific since January 2013. The 30-year veteran of Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) was chairman of J&J’s medical devices & diagnostics business throughout Asia-Pacific, where he pioneered its entry in all emerging markets in Asia, including China, India, and Vietnam.
"Supratim’s deep knowledge and leadership experience in the Asia Pacific and international markets will be a valuable contribution as we look to grow our company outside of the U.S.," CareFusion chairman & CEO Kieran Gallahue said in prepared remarks. "We are fortunate to have someone with his credentials in the medical device industry as part of our board of directors."
Neovasc’s new clinical affairs veep is St. Jude, Boston, Medtronic vet
Neovasc (NYSE:NVC) said it named Vicki Bebeau to be its new vice president of clinical affairs. Bebeau, an 18-year medtech veteran, has held "clinical positions of increasing responsibility" at St. Jude Medical (NYSE:STJ), Boston Scientific (NYSE:BSX) and Medtronic (NYSE:MDT), Neovasc said.
