Canon Medical Systems USA today announced the commercial launch of its Vantage Galan 3T/Supreme Edition MRI system.
The advanced MRI system features all Canon-manufactured components. That includes an innovative real-time platform and precision Japan-made magnet technology. Tustin, California–based Canon Medical said the system enhances imaging performance, streamlines operational workflow and improves patient comfort.
Vantage Galan 3T/Supreme Edition leverages the Canon Medical Altivity suite of AI solutions. This suite assists clinicians by optimizing image quality and reducing scan times. The company says its integration of AI with MRI technology highlights its commitment to addressing healthcare challenges and providing reliable solutions for demanding clinical environments.
According to a news release, the system includes Canon’s AI technologies, such as the advanced, intelligent Clear-IQ Engine (AiCE) and Precise IQ Engine (PIQE). These offer increased resolution and faster scans for improved productivity, plus assistance and support in diagnosis.
Canon Medical says its precisely crafted, Japan-made magnet provides highly stable imaging with an expanded field of view (FOV). This helps to deliver a reliable diagnostic tool for healthcare professionals.
