Brain Tunnelgenix Technologies Corp. raised $250,000 toward its $6 million funding goal from three un-named investors, according to a Securities & Exchange Commission filing.
The Hamden, Conn.-based biotech firm, which was founded by Yale University School of Medicine professor Dr. Marc Abreu, is developing a device based on Abreu’s research into the so-called "Brain Temperature Tunnel."
The April 16 filing indicates that the company was previously named Eterling Corp. and Eterlink International Corp. BTT recently debuted the Abreu-BTT 700 System, designed to record skin-surface temperature through a set of USB connected sensors. BTT devices are not yet available for sale in the U.S.
