Bovie Medical swings to 2011 black
Bovie Medical (NYSE:BVX) posted losses of $876,000, or 5¢ per share, on sales of $6.2 million during the 3 months ended Dec. 31, 2011. That compares with losses of $1.4 million, or 8¢ per share, on sales of $6.2 million during the same period in 2010.

For the full year, Bovie reported profits of $109 million, or 1¢ per share, on sales of $25.4 million. That compares with losses of $1.5 million, or 9¢ per share, on sales of $24.2 million during 2010.

Cambridge Heart’s losses widen in Q4, 2011
Cambridge Heart (NSDQ:CAMH) posted losses of $1.4 million, or 1¢ per share, on sales of $557,000 during the 3 months ended Dec. 31, 2011. That compares with losses of $1.2 million, or 2¢ per share, on sales of $714,000 during the same period in 2010.

For the full year, Cambridge Heart reported losses of $5.4 million, or 5¢ per share, on sales of $2.2 million. That compares with losses of $5.2 million, or 7¢ per share, on sales of $2.8 million during 2010.
