The Therapeutic Goods Administration, Australia’s medical device and pharmaceutical regulator, set up easier online access to its Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) database of approved products.
An electronic version of the ARTG is now available on the TGA’s website, and features improved functionality for selection and searching options. Users can now search new products recently added to the database, as well as by active ingredients.
In other TGA news, the agency last month released regulatory update for in vitro devices. Certain IVDs are now subject to application audits by the TGA.
