Analogic Corp. named a former Hologic and Cytyc executive as its new CFO.
Michael Levitz will become the Peabody medical imaging equipment maker’s financial chief and treasurer July 6.
Levitz is the former vice president and controller of Hologic’s Cytyc business, which it acquired in a $6.2 billion deal in 2007.
He succeeds the resigning John Millerick, who will stay on board through the end of September to help with the transition.
Analogic posted third-quarter sales of $93.6 million, an 8.8 percent plunge compared with the second quarter and an 8.9 percent drop compared with the same period last year.
