AdvaMed Names New Vice President in Payment and Health Care Delivery Policy
WASHINGTON , D.C. – The Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) announced today that Chandra Branham has joined the group as vice president, payment and health care delivery policy.
Branham most recently was an associate attorney at Arnold & Porter LLP, where she focused on health care legal, regulatory and legislative issues involving Medicare coverage, coding, reimbursement, and quality for providers and suppliers of Medicare items and services. She previously served as a consultant with a Washington, D.C., consulting firm, providing legislative and regulatory strategy and guidance to companies and trade associations on a variety of Medicare and health care issues. Prior to that, Branham was a senior legislative analyst in the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Office of Legislation, where she worked primarily on legislative and policy issues affecting Medicare payment policy. Branham also has significant health care trade association experience.
“Chandra will lead our policy work on several important issues, including diagnostics payment, coverage and comparative effectiveness, among others,” said Ann-Marie Lynch, AdvaMed’s executive vice president, payment and health care delivery policy. “Her vast experience and knowledge of the industry will bring value to our team and will be an asset to AdvaMed as we move forward with our payment-related policy activities.”
Branham has a Bachelor of Science in International Area Studies from Drexel University and earned her Juris Doctor from the George Mason University School of Law.
