Accelus this week announced it appointed Jim Fox as VP of U.S. sales, effective immediately.
As VP of U.S. sales, Fox will oversee the company’s national sales strategy and focus on expanding market penetration for the company’s spine implants. He will also be responsible for strengthening distributor partnerships and supporting surgeons with Accelus’ portfolio of implants and instrumentation.
Fox joined Accelus in 2019 as an area sales director. He was promoted to VP of sales of the eastern U.S. in 2022. In that role, Fox helped strengthen Accelus’ commercial team and drive market awareness for the company’s spinal implant technology. The company also said his leadership helped establish a stronger foothold in the market.
“Jim’s leadership and deep understanding of the spine market make him well-positioned to guide our U.S. sales organization forward,” President and CEO Kevin McGann said in a news release. “His success in building momentum in the Eastern region, along with his strong distributor relationships, will be key as we continue to expand our commercial presence across the United States.”
Prior to joining Accelus, Fox held leadership roles at Medtronic, Biomet, Benvenue Medical and Safe Passage Neuromonitoring.
“I’m honored to step into this role and continue working alongside our sales team to serve our surgeons and the patients they treat,” said Fox. “Our focus will be on increasing awareness and adoption of our products throughout the United States and ensuring we continue to provide exceptional support to our customers.”
