MassDevice, the online business journal of the medical devices industry, inked a content-sharing deal with MedCity News, the premiere destination for healthcare business and innovation news and information.
The agreement enables MassDevice and MedCity News to greatly expand their respective coverage. Boston-based MassDevice will post MedCity News coverage of medical device stories from the Cleveland-based company’s bureaus in The Forest City and Minneapolis. Similarly, MedCity News will pick up MassDevice.com stories on the medical device industry that are of interest to its audience.
“We’re delighted to begin 2010 with what we believe will be a long and fruitful relationship with MedCity News, which we’ve long admired as a premium source of healthcare-related news and information,” MassDevice editor Brad Perriello said. “MedCity News does a great job covering a wide and vibrant beat, both in its home base of Cleveland and, more recently, in Minneapolis. Adding its top-notch coverage to our own groundbreaking coverage of the medical device industry can only enhance the value we bring to our audience. We look forward to developing this relationship in the coming months and years.”
“The future of media is in collaboration. Next-generation news services like MedCity News and MassDevice not only serve traditional media and their own audiences, but they can help each other,” added MedCity News president Chris Seper. “Our audience, which has a vested interest in health care, craves strong, actionable coverage of the medical industry. MassDevice helps deliver that, and we’re excited to expose new markets and new readers to MedCity News’ valuable information, too.”
