Which medical device companies are the best to work for?

Data compiled from the employee satisfaction site Glassdoor.com reveals employees' opinions on the best medical device companies to work for.

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) tops the charts as the best medical device company to work for according to Glassdoor.com, a database of anonymously posted information about salaries, interviews and jobs from current and former medical device industry employees.

The New Brunswick, N.J.-based medical products conglomerate received an average score of 3.5 (out of a best score of 5) in terms of employee satisfaction, based on 860 reviews on the website.

Glassdoor, which launched in 2008, has data on more than 250,000 companies from more than 15 million registered users, according to spokesman Scott Dobroski. The average company rating is 3.2 for employee satisfaction, Dobroski told MassDevice.com.

Other medical device companies scoring high on the satisfaction list include Abbott (NYSE:ABT) and Medtronic (NYSE:MDT), which both had scores of 3.4.
