"At NxStage Kidney Care, we understand the need for more patient access to therapies beyond the thrice weekly in-center model," NxStage Kidney Care president Robert Brown said in prepared remarks. "By leveraging the innovative technology of the NxStage System 1, we're working to expand patient access to the life-changing benefits of home therapy as well as to flexible in-center options at the frequency and duration that works best for the patient. Our care model is designed to allow patients to take control of their dialysis and to allow physicians the flexibility to prescribe what is truly best for their patients."
