Medical device titan Medtronic (NYSE:MDT) won gold, spending another month at the top of the internet chatter hierarchy for another month as CEO Omar Ishrak celebrated his 1-year anniversary and group purchasing organization Novation’s CEO looks back on last year’s split.
Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) took silver with news of its latest quarterly earnings and CEO Alex Gorsky’s take on emerging markets.
Covidien (NYSE:COV) and St. Jude Medical (NYSE:STJ) followed behind with their own earnings reports as well as news of recalls and warnings on the cardiac rhythm management market.
