Albany, N.Y.-based AngioDynamics (NSDQ:ANGO) said Alan Panzer, its general manager of U.S. sales, will no longer be with the company as of July 31, 2013.
AngioDynamics did not cite a reason for terminating Panzer’s employment, saying only that he will stay on the payroll until February 2014. Panzer came to the medical device company in 2011 with 20 years industry experience, most recently as president & CEO of DeVilbiss Healthcare.
Former AngioDynamics CFO Joseph Gersuk retired earlier this year, to be replaced by Mark Frost.
ProUroCare names interim CFO after ex-finance chief Thon’s resignation
ProUroCare Medical (OTC:PUMD) CFO Richard Thon resigned this month, prompting the company to tap Alan Shuler as interim finance chief. ProUroCare did not cite a reason for Thon’s departure.
Shuler has more than 30 years of senior financial executive experience, most recently with his consulting firm, which specialized in interim CFO appointments. He’s has also worked as CFO of FSI International and Datakey Inc. and as CEO of Carlson Cos.

MITA takes on a new international director
Former U.K. government consultant Andrew Northup signed on with the Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance as its international director. Northup will be in charge of international affairs plus the group’s ultrasound and magnetic resonance divisions.
Northup was formerly at the British embassy as a consultant on international growth strategies to U.K. and U.S. executives at life science and technology companies.

Guided Therapeutics co-founder resigns
Shabbir Bambot, the co-founder of Guided Therapeutics (OTC:GTHP) resigned as VP of of research & development. Bambot co-founded the company in 1992 and has been its R&D veep since 2007. Regulatory filings did not cite a reason for Bambot’s resignation, which took effect May 10, 2013.

KCI adds ex-Amerigroup CEO Carlson to board
James Carlson, the former CEO of health insurer Amerigroup, was named to the boards of Kinetic Concepts Inc. and sister company LifeCell Corp.
Last month, KCI president & CEO Joseph Woody was named LifeCell’s interim CEO after ex-CEO Lisa Colleran’s departure to “pursue new opportunities."
