Teleflex to debut Arrow AC3 Optimus IABP and Vascular Solutions portfolio
Teleflex (NYSE:TFX) said today it will be debuting its Arrow AC3 Optimus intra-aortic balloon pump alongside the complex percutaneous coronary intervention product portfolio it acquired with Vascular Solutions at the EuroPCR meeting in France this week.
The Arrow AC3 Optimus IABP is designed to help weakened hearts pump blood and is designed to provide IABP therapy to a broad range of patietns, including those not previously cleared for the procedure.
The pump can be used on patients with severe arrhythmias or heart rates as high as 200 beats per minute, according to Teleflex.
The Wayne, Penn.-based company said that with its acquisition of Vascular Solutions, it now offers a full line of products for interventional cardiologists, including its GuideLiner catheter platform, TrapLiner catheter, Turnpike catheter, Twin-Pass torque dual access catheter and R350 guidewire, according to a press release.
Teleflex won FDA 510(k) clearance for its Arrow AC3 Optimus intra-aortic balloon pump earlier this month.
